ResNet and RoamNet

RoamNet and TheCloud coverage - Last updated March 2010

RoamNet

RoamNet is the roaming service for Unversity of Bradford staff and students. Where there is wireless or wired RoamNet you will see one of these two signs:

Wireless RoamNet Enabled Area. Wired RoamNet Enabled Area.

Free wifi for visitors

TheCloud logo

Visitors may use TheCloud free wifi service in the same areas that Wireless RoamNet is available. In addition to the RoamNet signs, you may also see TheCloud logo.

Wireless coverage is graded as 'fair', or 'good'. Good coverage means wireless access is available over most of the floor, 'fair' means not total floor coverage but some will be available somewhere on a floor, but you might have to move around to find it.

Please note some of the areas listed below are only for use by students and/or staff of the departments who occupy those rooms. Inclusion on this list is in no way an indication of the right of anyone to be able to enter rooms and use the facilities within.
